Well I managed to get 12 groove wraps and 6 full wraps done as part of my pre rock show crunch last week. So far this one is my favorite. I even left the bail loops closed so I might actually wear this one to our show myself (I have never worn anything I have made before). Self collected pudding stone And couple more from Michigan Petoskey stones And one full rhodocrosite wrap Thanks for looking Chuck

man, you must not sleep much- you are just so productive. Those are beautiful! thank you. This last week was one big blur. My day job is 50 hours a week plus I still have 3 school age kids and all of their sports activities to deal with. My final tally for rock items for the week was 26 cabs, 10 wine stopppers, 4 bezel key chains, 13 groove wraps, and 8 full wire wraps. Plus my normal crazy tumbling schedule. Next weekend will be 20 hours at the show then I am going to need a serious vacation. Chuck

Beautiful work,if you don't mind me asking, what do you get for the groove wrap pendants? that's a great question. I have no idea, lol I am trying to come up with a fair number myself but in sterling silver I am thinking at least $20 for cutting the groove and wrapping in sterling silver. That would mean a $15 cab would be $35 groove wrapped. I cant see doing it for any less. what do you guys think? chuck

The groove wrap uses less wire and takes less time then a full wrap but then it does take time to get that groove just right. chuck

I don't know how I missed this one. I really enjoy seeing the clean groove wraps. It makes me want to try again. Maybe, I'll just wait for your tute. I have a glass grinder and the same bit you use.

Thanks Tela- Maybe next week I can find a little time to put a simple tutorial/pictorial together. I think Adrians is great and that inspired me to try it but his tute is using different tools and methods so maybe another one using the tools I am using will be helpful. Chuck

Chuck Yes, I've seen Adrian's tute and it's great, but like you said- different tools. I really enjoyed hubrocks groove wraps, too. If you need inspiration, go back and find his posts. I never knew you could do so much with a groove wrap. Thank you in advance for finding the time to do this. It's very generous of you.

I tried to look at his recent threads and all pictures have been removed so maybe he closed his photobucket or moved his photos. That's a bummer. Chuck

He did had some really intriguing and wonderful designs. He worked mostly with copper and did a little torch and hammer work with it, too.
