Tumbled these for two days with 500grit. I haven't tried to tumble coral yet, so I sliced a couple up into manageable pieces and kept a close eye on them during the process. I knew they would breakdown quickly and I still have 1/2 barrel tumbling a litlle more. yadda yadda, so here they are! Thanks for Loooking

Your corals have interesting shapes, FLrockhound. Did you tumble them in a vibe, and are you still tumbling them? Also, are they from Florida?

gingerkid I actually tumbled them in my rotary but a vibe would be better used. I'm finished with tumbling, but i do have another batch rolling. They will eventually be polished by hand. They are all from Tampa Florida, found them on the beach shore with a bunch of other agates. A special thanks to the dredging in an around the bay.

Here is the barrel I've been watching like a newborn. All fossil corals. Just took them out of 60/90 this afternoon and started the 190/220 ? Fine grit. Should be ready for pre-polish tomorrow sometime if all goes accordingly.
