Howdy Guys
Think I just fixed my Workforce saw I’ve had it for 7 years and it sits out in the weather all year long
Anyway the blade wouldn’t turn freely Took the blade off and behind the back collar there is a little rubber spacer Behind that rubber spacer the grit had built up hindering movement A little scraping with my chisel removing the grit build-up and its turning freely
Hopefully I’ll get under 7 years of abuse out it mostly

Glad you got her fixed up so you can cut again, Ed! Do you have a tarp so you can cover it?
We have ours sitting on the deck and covered it with a tarp. The legs are getting a bit rusty though and need to do something about it.

I kept it covered with a rubberamid tub for quite a few years but then I got the 10" saw and I started covering that and never got another tub
last 2 summer I've just threw a towel over it it still runs well
all of my equipment is outside I use recycle bin to keep my small tool and machines in its the best I can do for now
