wowee! the big diggings has so much going on with all the various colored plumes and swirls... very complex rock! The Montana heel ends are fascinating. Don't think I ever saw what a Montana looked like with its clothes on! Thanks for the pictures!

Some great looking slabs. Mad rivers were being compared to Montana's recently in a post , and the more I look at them. They do tend to look as if there Montana's on steroids.

That Montana is really becoming my favourite agate. Great cuts and thanks for showing. I agree with spiritstone about the mad rivers being Montana on roids!

That Mad River's insane! Got to get some of that. Thanks for the show. Old post but they had a boat load at the Denver show. I just got home and I picked up a lot of it. Blue dendrites like montanas and most are like a Laguna cross with crazy lace and crossed back to montana but not very fractured very solid. Will post some in next couple days after I get the nursery straightened out after being gone from it for a few days. and the stuff cleaned up and photographed. Probably run a wet grinder with a cup for a rough grind on some of them and picked up a 40 pound vibe from John at John's Gems today so will vibe a few. .

Spirit Nailed a bunch today at the Denver show. Some are totally like the blue montanas but no fractures, I agree. Will post some in a couple days when I get time. Been looking for a bunch for a while now and happy to get them. 3 a pound. Old post but I ran across it on google and then saw all the pictures gone. Dang PeeBucket.

No photos on my side because of photobucket!! Those Mad River agates cost more than the Montana's too... Nice agates though.. Cliff at $3.00 a pound you got a steal!!! They are going for $10-$12.00 a pound here.... Montana's for $8-$10.00 a pound.. CRAZY HUH!!! Glad I have connections and hound Montana!!! LOL

I thought that vendor was one of the best at the show, rough prices were decent.
