Hey, sweet Chinese Writing Rock! I love the bright jaspers too. Are you on the west coast? Thanks pal! I'm in Arizona, how bout you? Thanks snowmom! I like the breccias too, especially the red white and green. First I found out there like that. Played hooky today and went back out this morning. Had a nice cloud cover until around 9:30 so it was comfortable hounding. Here's what I picked up The 2 big ugly chalcedonies look to have potential for treasure inside. Someday I'll get my slab saw fixed and find out lol a cute little piece with a couple dendrites and sagenite sprays can't wait to cut into this one some boss moss I call these locals but to be fair they probably originated many miles away and after centuries of flash flooding ended up right down the street. Gotta love it

well now, that's what I call a worthwhile day off... heh, about the locals, I call my glacier transported stuff local too. I think local is where you find it regardless of its ancient origins, right? Don't forget to show us what you do with these. The top rock in the photo fourth up from the bottom (awkward!) shows a hint of red in the middle and wants to be translucent. I would love to see that one when you are done with it especially! (and those are all some mighty fine treasures- I'm only a little bit jealous LOL)
