I don't know. Leave as is...or do something with it. *Sidenote:The yellow jasper is the inclusion of a chalcedony matrix and the red jasper is the matrix with chalcedony inclusions (with, I think agatization) Henry

my guess is that you'll get loads of votes to cut it. It sure has promise on the outside, and would be beautiful left the way it is, but would you always wonder? If hesitant, maybe cut yourself a little end off and see what you think then? Face polished rocks are beautiful too!

Thanks every one. For right now, I think i'm keeping this piece as-is. it has a lot of surface activity.

What Fossilman said. then you will know and keep it for a display but I shouldn't talk I have a few that are awesome on the outside but to chicken to cut them. never thought of just cutting one end I would get cut happy if it had something going on I would want to see more.LOL

Give it to me since we are voting. Just kidding. I couldn't stand it and would have to cut one side off at least. But I do not display rocks and only play with rocks so my "cut everything" mentality is not for everyone. Gotta go, my saw just shut off. Jim
