Beautiful Rolling hills! I love that stuff. Fun and fast to work up. If I may butt in and answer the question above, it is also called Oaxaca travertine and is from Oaxaca, Mexico. Hope I spelled it right as I suck at spelling....Mel

very cool I probably get my crazy lace & dolomite confused rhyolite too all good stuff
and all I know about Oaxaca is the eggs are really good Oaxaca Restaurant that is in Sedona right by Canyon Diablo

Hey Edmo I used to deliver beer to the Oaxaca back about 20 years ago. Never had the time to eat there though. Roy I worked 1 cab of this material several years ago.. I remember it being somewhat soft and easy to work like Mel said. Hoping to do some cabbing this weekend as cooler temps are coming, I gotta new wheel to break in and it's just been way too long! Thanks all for the comments!

Wow, that starburst sure looks like a beautiful bright cousin to the flower/writing rock here. Dolomite out of this world.
