I have a guy coming from Canada to pick up a saw in May, maybe he can bring one back for you? Not sure if shipping within Canada would be a lot cheaper? Tony Hope that this may be a possiblity for you to get a saw, spiritstone. You have a lot of material that needs to be cut! Not having the best day, watched the neighbors brother run into my truck tonight and dent in the bumper. 250 to replace the chrome and have to look into shop time now. I just dont have the time to rip it apart right now, otherwise I would do it myself. We'll see what's best after i sleep over it. Thanks. Dang, spiritstone, sure hate to hear that about your truck. Is your neighbors brother going to pay for the damage to your bumper? Your so right Jan, thats why the cutting has slowed right down. Yeah, he said he'll take care of it "cash" then bothering to go through insurance. It was a company van he side swiped me with so the dent and scrape along his passenger side is noticeable but I dont think much of a big deal to him. My guess is along the lines of 375 for part and shop time,my time.

When I bought my Tundra, the rear bumper had a dent in it. Found a replacement on eBay. Cost plus shipping was in the $400 range. Swapped it out myself in less than an hour. Just saying you might want to check eBay. Local salvage yards may be an option as well. Might find a prefect bumper on a vehicle totaled from the other end.

Looked on Ebay last night, nothing available for shipping to Canada. I called a couple wreckers within 100 km and found two, both around the same asking price of 250 or I can pick up a OEM replacement bumper for 190 US or 250 Canadian delivered to the door from a wholesale parts outfit. I can do the swap out myself and chances are a better job.

Thanks if you kept me in mind. You can cross me off the list. Curious minds would like to know if that means you purchased a saw, spiritstone? Did you get your truck repaired?

Thanks if you kept me in mind. You can cross me off the list. Curious minds would like to know if that means you purchased a saw, spiritstone? Did you get your truck repaired? Dont you mean one curious mind? I purchased a Covington do it your self 10 inch setup. Doesnt come with self feed or a motor or a holding tank base, but I have all this stuff laying around that I can create or modify it to my own particular needs. I pulled off a power water feed with a recycling water pump from a tile slide saw and adding it onto the blade splash guard. Right now trying to come up with a config for a sliding vice or table. Have the parts just wish I had a tig welder laying around. May have to drill holes and bolt a table on. Going to have to be a gravity or weight fed. Got the new bumper. need time off to work on it as with many other things during this short window we call spring-summer-fall.

Congrats, spiritstone! Please post pics of your saw project on here. Can you rent a tig welder, or do you have a friend that may lend one to you to use? Did it come with a blade? If it didn't come with a blade, what blade are you going to use with it? I'm glad that you have a bumper ready to put on your truck.

covington does sell the power feed as a stand alone item I took a look into them after you mentioned this, still a little pricey, but thank you. I came up with a double bar bearing slide system that can be modified to fit, should work great with weights attached over hanging off the saw as gravity and blade momentum does it thing. plus a slight slop on one end. Got it all under control.
