Been busy hand polishing tumbled fossil coral an testing myself with wrapping. Anywho... Hopefully when I get over to hobby lobby next week so I can pick up some half round and square. Round is just too finicky!

I see growth and improvement, love that you find and polish your own coral, as well. watching with interest, I want to try this too. Keep going!

Thank you both. I'm glad there is visible improvement. I really enjoy working with the coral. I'm hoping to find some more next week when I go to the beach. I'm in the beginning stages of making a flat lap with a possible grooving bit attachment. I can only rough shape with my wet saw for now. Once I have symmetrical rocks, I think my wrapping will further improve.

No, no, no... don't limit yourself to symmetrical rocks. Sometimes the best wraps are those with wonky shapes. But, I guess, from a learning perspective, symmetrical might be better.

No I wouldn't limit myself to just symmetrical. I agree the wonky and natural look looks better in certain instances. I have alot of natural rocks that will never see a saw or anything else.
