This thing is real sensitive to light. Changes colors in sun, shade and the way you turn it. and glamour shot

Looking awesome. Are you keeping one and cut up the other? Would make some stunning cabs.

yeah these would make some killer jewelry but I am keeping them as a specimen pair. This is my only Richardson Ranch moss t egg. IMO, Richardson Ranch has the nicest mossy eggs.

Im about the only one on here that doesn't do lapidary. I like specimens but would like to get all the cutting and polishing stuff one day.

Oh man that is a beauty! I've been to the ranch a couple times but concentrated on the other beds. More of a quantity thing. Although I have found a bunch of really nice ones, none are as nice as that moss egg. Looks like the next trip will be a moss bed excursion. Thanks for the kick in the butt. Oh BTW: I too don't do lapidary. Just dig, cut, and polish them eggs.

I found what looks like the exact material way down stream in the Rio Grande but round in pebble form. Looks like green egg drop soup.

it changes color like your chameleon. I had a Jackson chameleon like 15 years ago. The three horned ones.
