Not sure which post I should be replying to... Maybe all three of them?
Once more, jamesp does it again, starting three posts! Y'all know you confuse the hell out of people when you do that, James. Oh well, who am I to keep you from having fun?
Thanks everyone for the well wishes and comments. I do enjoy being here, it's like spending time with my extended family, spread all over the globe! I enjoy the camaraderie, looking at and sharing pics. Sometimes, I even learn something, lol!
Was treated by my brother to fishing on a half day boat yesterday. Both he and my nephew had a few keepers (a couple bass and some bonito), I caught five or six undersize bass that had to go back. Even though the deck hands remove the fish from your line, I still managed to get covered with fish scales from the bait fish. And I'm wondering how long this fishy smell from baiting the hook is going to remain on my hands? That's okay, it was a gorgeous day, and I had fun. That's what it's all about!
This is the Pacific Ocean, just a couple miles off of Pacific Beach (San Diego).
Will have a full BD weekend, finishing up on Sunday with dinner and cake with the family at my dads.

Thanks, Jan. It's only five days past, I don't think it's late until at least a week has gone by.
Here's another fishing pic, this the one I cropped my avatar out of:
Despite not bringing any fish home, I had a great time.

Thanks, guys. Ed, I should have put my hair up under my hat, but I'm not that smart. Yeah, I'm a natural blonde, lol. You'll notice that in both pics, I am leaning up against something. It's been over twenty years since I went out on a half day boat, any boat for that matter! My brother and nephew go at least once a week, so they are used to it. But I don't have their sea legs, so pretty much made sure I was in contact with the rail or something else stationary at all times. Photos were taken while the boat was heading out.

Yes, Mike, I was still smiling. Did not get seasick, the water was very calm. I just figured when the boat was moving that it would be better to stay close to something than to fall down, lol. (No, I didn't have anything to drink while on board.)
On the way back in, the deck hands were gutting/filleting fish for people, and throwing the guts and scraps overboard. We had an entourage of seagulls and other sea birds following us in for the scraps. I wish I had brought my video camera, it was so cool watching the birds as they seemed to hover in space, jockeying for position, while the boat came into the channel. Made sure I stayed in front of them though... didn't wish to be crapped on! Not how I wanted to end my day.
