Thanks for looking what follow is my photo taking experimentation. Being that I lost my photo taking palm tree in the last monsoon I'm trying a new technique with a lamp shade as a light deflector in the hot noon sun. I’m sure I’ll end up with satisfactory result after the learning curve. O the joy! I got 3 sizes to present penny, stone canyon I think Pendant size. The stone as some really nice pastel streaks in it that the photo doesn’t show. I like to think that a clef design in a rock’n heart. Display Size The penny doesn’t really indicate how big this heart is But its big piece of pet. wood Thanks for reading and looking agrin

Way cool, Ed! Great hearts! Yes on the Stone Canyon. Love the music clef. Or is it a backwards b-flat?
The lamp shade did the trick, and I love the frames around the pics.

Totally awesome Ed! If you haven't seen Ed's hearts in person, your missing something!
PS: Ed my daughter Jessi recieved her heart yesterday. She loved it so much, she cried! She said to tell you thank you and that the remarks you made about why you picked that color and type, was a perfect fit ! Jessi wil cherish it forever...... She will make a chain out of hemp for it....So it will be all natural,to match the heart! Again thank you Ed....You touched a girls heart and brought a happy smile to her face, she adores that,in which you did! THANK YOU!!!! SO VERY MUCH!!!

Great pictures, Ed! Your lampshade does the job. I love the second heart, but I think it belongs to someone whose name starts with a "d".

wonderful hearts! I love Jessi's story and know you have been touching hearts all around you for quite a while now. How wonderful to have such a way to reach out to others and make useful things from this hobby. Yours is a great example to follow. Thanks for showing us what you have been up to. (I like the first one best this time, but they are all super!)

been busy moving to Lake George Colorado still got a bunch of work to do on the place but its now livable and doable. The rest of the fixits we can do at our leisure. Got a shed built for my lapidary shop now just need power and heat to it for next year - winter is too close to even think about working rocks in it right now. Gonna miss the set up I had at the house in Everson

Looking good all the way. I'm always left to admire as to how clean your center-lines are.

The pics are great, the hearts are better, & that lampshade-on-your-head photo is priceless.

Thanks Kurt!! Been really working that center line. It is the key to the rock'n heart along with about 20 other things Hearts are finicky. Sometimes I can blend it in seamlessly with a design in the stone. But for two contrasting stones well,... its going to be pretty apparent that the 2 stones are joined. Like to think it adds charm. A charmed heart. My next project !!! Hey Rich ! Thanks for looking and the comments! Hope all rolling good. Ed
