bring a rock'n heart piece of covelite to AZ bsky4463 ! I saw a wonderful cab on rockjunquie page and it had me real interested rock on ! Ed

The saw survived, cleaned up and on light duty slicing some obsidian. Good thing ya like Tela, the bigger ones are heading your way. Cheers.

Not sure on the tumble, but it takes a light touch to cab it. It's 2- for hardness. Cheers

Cheers Curios cause I've been finding some neat banded looking stones coming out of a crusher at work and know it's fairly soft and wanna kinda play around seeing it I could tumble it to a shine Don't have any big kid toys to try and shine it with .....so the tumbler sees some odd things in it time to time lol

For me, I wouldn't tumble the Covellite .... It's pretty hard to source and not a lot around. This stuff came from the Leonard Mine in Butte, likely from the 40s or 50s.... I feel some stones are just worthy of being crafted in the hand. Cheers.
