OK. Not making this up. My elderly neighbor Caroll came over and asked me what the "noise" in my garage was. I explained to him that I was vibrating my Superior agates in my 18"Thumlers Tumbler. He is about 84 years old. Retired school teacher. Anyway, after I showed him some "lakers", he said he had a really cool large rock he found in AZ, and would I come look at it. "Sure", says I. I walked next door and he brings out this huge beautiful stone. I had no idea what it was, and I told him so. Then he gets a grin on his face and says "Sumite". Me, wanting to look and sound like I'm the rock bomb, reply, "YES, it's Sumite". Deadpan look from neighbor Caroll....he says...."Uhhh, no, I think my wife SUE MIGHT know what kind of rock this is". He then burst out laughing and fell to the ground so hard that I had 911 dialed up on the cell just in case. I am studying my geology and identification vey hard right now. I'm glad Caroll lived. If I were a dog, I'd be slinking back to my garage with my tail between my legs.....

As a new member and gaining knowledge at such a rapid pace, it sounds like you will soon be ready for a big old chunk of Leaverite!
I love the Sumite story, but will have to adapt it to Lauramite, or get a new wife.
Darryl.
