Not sure on that yet. I have a hand saw and a miter box if i cant find anyone with a miter chop saw i can use ill do it the hard way but i think hubbys dad has one, i just need to ask him and their washing machine just died (underwire wrapped itself around the internal mechanism) so he's been working on that everyday after work for almost a week now... so im holding off on asking him. A repair guy is going there tomorrow to fix it so hopefully when im there Sunday i can ask. Im weighing my options if he says no.. physical labor and time vs cost to buy my own

That's how we furnished the house when we first got together. Never bought new piece of furniture. It was wonderful. Denise ran around and shopped the stuff and set up the layout in the house. She had a blast. Only called on me to move the heavier stuff. It furnished the house cheaply and uniquely. Some of the stuff became valuable.

Most of our furniture is hand me down from the familly. Our hutch has been passed down a few generations, its my favorite piece of furniture. When we were first living together it was in a bedroom at my hubbys parents house so we got a bed and a dresser from ikea because that was the only place we could get furniture we could play tetris with to make it all fit. Id like to replace the tv stand with something nice but with young kids im going to wait on that. I looked into the value of that jack daniels box and in near mint condition its worth $200. The one i bought has a few dings and scratches but its still functioning, it has to be worth more than i paid ($40)... plus we have a small collection of jack daniels memorabilia. My oldest son is named jack daniel thats the main reason i wanted it. He got excited it had his name on it. Lol i couldnt find a value on the winchester box but it was cool and worth $35 in my opinion. The other chest i doubt is very old but its exactly what i was looking for, wood and leather with a functioning latch. For all i know it could be old and its in great condition so ill treat it as if it is valuable.
