Although I've sold all of my home made equipment and many of my images have been lost over the years, I did stumble onto this one.. Image: Using the pencils flat sides and a jerry rigged setup consisting of dowel holes. So not only relying on the pencils flat sides.. but the dowel holes which allowed me to facet cut the stone at different angles. Image: Using the method above, I crudely faceted aquamarine..

Very cool and really like the faceted aqua! Would love to see a vid of you faceting with the set-up, @stonewhisper.

Very cool and really like the faceted aqua! Would love to see a vid of you faceting with the set-up, @stonewhisper. Sadly, I no longer have any equipment other than three lortone tumblers.. and researching older post, one would see that I'm still not ready to tumble several glass samples I've collected over the years. Thou I still have plenty of rocks. I've found that in order to conserve energy.. we simply do not tumble anything anymore. Also, the wife's shop is a mess.. she hasn't wire wrapped of felt in the mood to craft jewelry in about two years. But if one wants more of a detailed description, I may take a few moments one day and write something up. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/68105/follow-home-faceting-jig?page=1&scrollTo=773047
