Not sure this is posted in the right place but if it need be moved sorry for the eror. When ever I think if High price slabs what comes to mind is Sugalite,Pietersite,Chsroite so when I saw a listing on EBay for a slab costing $8,000.00 I had to give it a 2nd look. It was not any of the material mentioned nor others that I know come with a high price. The slab was a piece of Carey Plume Agate. Granted it was a very nice slab but $8,000? I contacted the seller to verify the price and he said it was correct but he would let it go for $6500.00. A little rich for my blood but here is the link. Question, Is tis seller getting high on his own supply with asking that price or is this stuff really that expensive? dude has some rather ordinary stuff and ordinary prices and nice stuff at crazy prices. $100/lb for lapis? sure it's nice, but $100/lb??
$10/lb for mahagony obsidian?
$50/lb for an 80# hunk of crazy lace?? haha!
I also notice he is not putting nice images of the entire stone. Just the features.

I wasn't impressed by any of the material he has posted, Obviously the guy just rolled out of the short bus.

Yes, I saw that too, then hit "next." Way out of my range even if it is worth the price.

Absolutely gorgeous slab but $8K? If he really believes that then IMHO it's time to change his tin foil hat. And I happen to have a barely used roll of tin foil I'm willing to sell him for $1200. Larry C.

Can you say sucker? Man is his stuff over priced! I am surprised he has no negative feedback once people figure out they have been ripped off.
