Hi Slim, welcome aboard. While this is a great forum, its emphasis is more on non-faceting lapidary work like tumbling and cabochon-cutting. If it's purely faceting information you're after, check out the U.S. Faceter's Guild: www.usfacetersguild.org/

Slim, it's not that some of us here don't know how to facet but the forum's emphasis is on other techniques. Here are a couple of my stones, an 8.64 ct. Bolivian ametrine and a 1.89 ct. Nigerian tourmaline:
