Wow, what a great tutorial. I've never wrapped anything, but I think I could with these instructions. I really like your groove wraps. I have had no desire to wrap anything until I saw your first groove wraps. Thanks Chuck.

Aha, so you overlap two coils (bindings) in the bale. Very good idea to hold the pliers with clamps. It kinda solves the problem of the much needed extra hand.

Nicely done! It's obviously not "so easy a caveman can do it"; but you make it seem easy. Thanks for the very understandable step by step.

Thanks all- There's lots of room for improvement and creativity on the bail portion but I was hoping this would be enough for a beginner to make some decent looking pendants.

Real nice tut. That would give a lot of confidence in illustrations and simple tools. That design is so tidy and shows the rock off. Mechanically strong in design. I would wear one in a heart beat.

WOW this has got to be one of the best well done and eaasy to follow tutorials I ever read. The photos are great the step by step instruction is strait forward and easy to follow. That clamp that you use to hold the pliers is a great idea. This definately should be made into a sticky. Thanks for taking the time to creat such a great tutorial. Stu

Outstanding, thanks! I have a question, do you, & if so how, secure the ends of the final round wrap wire? I you don;t how do you keep them from unwraping or getting loose?

Excellent Chuck. So beginners don't get confused, maybe after you mark your girdle height, you should briefly add the not insignificant step of finishing the cab. (That is why you mark the girdle).
A really, really top rate tutorial. You really put a lot of work into it. THANKS! Things like this are why this is a terrific forum/site.

Hey Chuck- Thank you for pointing this out to me. I did miss it in my absence. Great tutorial! The tute itself is easily written and well photographed and the design is very nice- clean, strong, great looking-- what could be better? I'll have to try this. I had been grooving the cab AFTER cabbing. It would probably be better to do it this way. THANK YOU!

Yes, this deserves a sticky. With this tute and Adrian's, I am all set. I think I'm set with the groove, now the wrap. Thanks for doing this.
