I’m often see wire wrapping that becomes the primary focus of the piece by overwhelming a stone. This is an elegant way to create a pendant and it complements the cab very nicely. Thank you for the time and effort to share.

Great tutorial! Between you and Adrian you nailed it. I like the clamp idea, ingenious realy:). So is the double binding.

Great tutorial! Between you and Adrian you nailed it. ... Yeah, the same way as the modern bulb nailed it compared to Mr. Edison's bulb. Or the same way the South pole nowadays camp nailed it compared to Mr. Amundsen's tent. Very fair comparison, thanks.

Great job on the tute & the pendant. Like the way you wrapped the bail. Looks very neat.

Very nicely done. I always have a problem on regular wire wrapping. I am going to start wrapping by using your tutorial. Again, very good. Thank you loads.

Nice- if only all my stones had grooves like that! I haven't gotten into tumbling and cutting my own stones but that along with metalsmithing is something I'd like to learn

I hate to ask this but, how much does the router sell for? It looks like maybe my hubby's next home made project. It doesn't look too complicated to build. Really nice tutorial. Thanks.

Bumping this thread.
You know what @drummond Island Rocks (Chuck) You are right. These grinders can be found on Craigslist fo $25.
I found one on Tuesday, that had been on CL for over a month. It was NOS, and from 5-6 generations ago. Used only 1 time. It was in Bullhead City, AZ, which was 1.5 hours away, but it looked like a great deal.
Well I guess it was a great deal, because she sold it right out from under me yesterday. I didn't even find out until my call before heading over this morning.
But these are out there for $25-35 bucks.
Thanks for the tip.
