Yep, it's a tough life all right. Friday morning, Saturday Pm and Sunday morning, I go out on trail rides. Super nice this time of year too with sunshine and mild temperatures. And this year, we even have so much grass it's sometimes hard for me to find the trails. We have something like 30 miles of horse trails here n the ranch. Couple of pics. it's me on tall, slender, red, Azteca in the pics. This group were all experienced riders so we just kind of roamed in a cluster a lot of the time....Mel

so jealous! Here it is getting frosty and the horses will be feeling vigorous and snorty. Savor it and store it for times of no horses to come.(may that never happen) Living vicariously now, Thanks for the photos.

dang! turn my back for a minute....(grinning). clarification then: personal times of no horses eventually come to every horse owner one way or the other, as Mr Mohs says, mostly.

That is how I draw the line on what is food. I'll eat pigeon tacos all day long. But not the show pigeons with names in my neighbor's coop.

French invading. *L* That is funny, I guess. Heard recently the French changed their alert system. Used to be green , yellow, red.
Now, its Retreat, Surrender, Collaborate
I used to sell bayonets and swords from my collection. French buyer asked me, " How come all the blades and swords etc seem to be in America?" My answer was, " Well, if you'd try and win a war every now and then. *W*"
