Just wanted to get a few opinions on cleaning material. It looks as though the collection of geodes and rock had been stored outside for quite a while. Lots of dust and dirt deep in the cut geodes. Are there small pressure washers out there that would do the job? What's the best way to clean those suckers out? Thanks, Bill G.

My husband and the kids bought me a fabric spot cleaning gun for mothers day. This really does clean well into those nooks and crannies. Just be careful because it can cut your skin or send projectiles into your face. It also removes some layers as well, so I would not use it on anything that has a thin outer chalcedony layer that you would want to keep. I would have to go and see what brand they bought me, but it is very similar to this one on Amazon.

Are Fabric Spot Cleaning Guns adjustable? I wondered if soaking the geodes in dish soap or something like that would work. I might have to invest in a Super Soaker Squirt Gun!

Over the weekend I sprayed a bit of Kaboom bathroom cleaner on a test geode. Worked great! I think I'll use all these ideas and see what works the best. Thanks all!

I got mine back out yesterday to check. It doesn't seem to be adjustable, beyond moving the nozzle closer to or farther away from the specimen.

Just wondering if the water jet could be made a little less "sharp". Coca Cola? Now I'm afraid what's it's doing to me. I'll put it on my list.
