snowmom, I don't know what critter this came from. The guy in the last photo found it in Utah. I was told a raptor tail but I am not 100% on that. In 2016 there is that Agate Expo and these might get shown off there. The show only happens every 4 years with people from all over the place not just USA. My buddy Mark Anderson who is doing a presentation, was given two table length glass displays for specimens. He asked if I would be interested in showing some of mine. Still a long ways away the rock show is, but I guarantee Marks display will be insane and like no other. www.agateexpos.com/

pinks are polished ? it was found in segments ? its incredible-- museum worthy as to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing archaeological finds ever

mr mohs, only some of them are polished. The guys I got them doesn't like polishing as much. He did do some of them though.
I don't know much about where or how this was found.

I think 2016 is far enough out that I can start planning on going to the agate expo... sounds wonderful! Hope he has an armed guard on his table full time... precious bones!
