Hi, jf23, you have some nice specimens! Is the first xtal you posted the same xtal pictured in the 2nd pic? After looking at the second pic, I wondered if it may be corundum (growth striations), but not sure. Could be quartz. Not sure what is with the quartz cluster/quartz druzy specimen (?), maybe calcite with malachite or apophyllite or prehnite. ? Possibly have a calcite or quartz stalactite? Is that a picture with the stalactite turned over? Looks like quartz in the middle of it, if it is a pic of the specimen turned over. The silvery, flaky mineral on your specimen may be galena, magnetite, mica, or ? on ?. Not sure of the last couple of pics (green massive rock).

I put 4 spaces between each of the rocks, and ive thought the first one might of been corundum before, but I couldn't find any pictures that looked close to it. Here is a better picture of the tip of it The 2nd one, after looking around some, may have some cactus quartz. And this just came to me on the foggy layer, because off the stuff on the back of the 2nd rock, could there be some sort of chalcedony layer on the quartz? Then here is a better picture of the back and one that got deleted in editing the post The stalactite one, going off the 1st picture, the 2nd and flipped to the other side, and the 3rd is the bottom. The 4th rock, whatever the black mineral is in it(on the flat side), at different light angles, different areas of the mineral shine to a grayish-silver color And thanks for the info

The 4th rock, I just chipped tiny dust bits off it, and one of the larger bits flew up to a magnet at about 1cm away Edit: There seems to be more than one, one really black non-magnetic one(Scratch that one, I put the magnet onto it and the black is slightly magnetic), and a green really fine powder magnetic one. Then there is the small chunk on the magnet, hard to see the exact color

the black will be magnetite or hematite, probably the former...not a clue as to what your crystals are. somebody shared this link with me, I refer to it frequently www.quartzpage.de/

The 1st one may have some too. And for the black mineral on the 4th rock, when doing a streak plate test, it looks like its right around the hardness of the streak plate, so guess thats magnetite. The only thing I can't find for the possible magnetite is the light greenish rock that its in

streak plate should be much harder than magnetite. You are using porcelain, correct? Most porcelain is 7+ and much harder than magnetite at 5-6.
Your crystals are all almost certainly quartz.

Ya, and I just remembered I had a small thing of magnetite and compared it with the magnet and and streak test. They are way different
