Super Nice! There a lot of specimen quality pieces and a whole lot of nice slicing material. Best of both worlds in one location. I'll have to do a little research on the Paddy Quarry and see what I am missing out on. Darryl. Hey Darryl. We didn't dig much, so most of our stuff are surface finds. The better stuff is buried I'm sure. Make sure to spell it with the "T's" and not the "D's"

Nice agate, there's a place in Summerville, GA with very similar agate. Rich Ha ha. That's exactly where I got it, the Patty Quarry. I didn't know it by that name, thanks for the information. Rich

I am in central Ga. Are there certain days, like weekends, where they allow people to come in and look? I would really like to make it up there once the weather cools off.

You can only dig on Sundays. Print a generic release of liability form from online and bring it with you. Leave at their door. Go to the top and have fun. Stay away from where the big machines may be.
