Hello, I am new here to the forum, I recently purchased an Ameritool and I have discovered I don't like it as much as my expanding wheel. I can't seem to get to better results with the Ameritool. I am tight on money at the time and was looking to sell this. I am not able to return this to the vendor as it is used. I purchased the 8" model with accessory kit. The discs are slightly used but still have a lot of life on them. I would like to get $450 for this. I can only ship this within the US, at about 15lbs, I would suspect shipping to be about $30 at the most via UPS ground, buyer pays shipping. I can only accept PayPal. I understand I don't have a history on this forum, I have sold things online on other forums, I can provide those sites and my usernames there if necessary. Thanks Luke

I am looking for some feedback on this, is it just because I am new here or is my asking price too high?

Both.
I can get everything you show here brand new for less than $500 from a company with a great reputation and that has been in business for decades. Probably even less if I took more than 3 minutes on a search.
It's nothing personal. Most folks won't send a chunk of money to someone with no track record for delivering.
Try selling this where you are known or maybe your local craigslist.
But, if you're into rocks, stick around. We'll warm up to ya!

Thanks for the reply captbob, I suppose I over paid quite a bit for my Ameritool then. I was not aware they could be had new for $500, wish I would have known that a few weeks ago, I think I will just keep mine then.. I enjoy cutting rocks, I have a few I want to show off, but need to figure out how to get better pictures.

Luke, I have a different brand of flat lap, a less desirable brand. It gave me fits at first but eventually I figured it out. I think keeping it & working through your frustrations will pay dividends.
There are plenty of folks here to help you too, just ask.
Welcome!
Rich
