I did the same when this came out - with disastrous results . . . constant phone calls from ladies around the world. Was it the wet tee shirt?

I think it is a serpentinized mafic rock . a metamorphosed mafic rock . i have found quite a few of these in the glacial till . i think they are interesting looking some are quite attractive . the material is usually solid and smooth, should work for lapidary . As rick said, the dallasite . i think is the same type . i have some that ive cut around here, actually pretty sure i have some coarse ground tumbles . i will see. also have some boulders, would make great spheres.
