Jimi, I believe the green flat one is argillite- harder than soapstone, softer than jasper, a sort of silicate mudstone/siltstone. It comes in red and black stripes, red, brown, green and blue-green around here. Didn't learn its name until recently.

That 1st piece takes the cake for me, is that slag glass of some sort??
