Howdy folks, Had a little time for cutting yesterday. Here are a couple of pics: Really like this stuff but no clue what the heck it is. Maybe an almost jasper hard silicified dendritic limestone. I really like the old ivory color. Small moss/plume nodule:

nice Mel ! you ever go dig in the live oaks area? i have been seeing some incredable wood latley from that area

Roy, I missed this year but I almost always go down near George West in Live Oak County at least once a year. I don't dig tough, Just walk around and pick up buckets of pretty wood. I love that stuff and have cut a lot of it. My favorites are the palm and the shrinkwood but there are an incredible number of types.....Mel
