I wanted to see pic... not much response to my thread What grades are these in terms of lapidary great / medium / low ?

glennzo1, these are pretty nice ones. On the higher end of the scale. Small fractures, but the best gembone seems to always be fractured. A friend of mine did this write up on gembone. As far as grading gembone, it is really no different that rating any other material. Your looking for color, hardness, fractures. Bout it. www.ebay.com/gds/Dinosaur-Gembone-/10000000002552086/g.html
