Hello all. So here are some example of Big Sur nehprite jade. 80% I believe come from the same vein. Please excuse the poor camera work, as I couldn't get the lighting right due to user error. And just 3 things:1)I found most of these pieces but did not shape or polish them. 2)The only blue-hued piece is the roundish piece (the only one polished by me ...but I did not find it) 3)The fairly large cobble was neither polished or recovered by me (a diver found it)

Around here, some of the men wear Big Sur nephrite pendants as you show, or Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper tumbled pendants.

The Big Sur cobble that you posted after the pendants looks like it has some translucency. You put a nice shine on the round-shaped one.

there are a whole class of us in this category, wonder if it could be classified as a sub disorder under OCD designation or the like. Discussing our jade longings here is like group therapy. But therapy alone doesn't work, medication may help (or a few days jade hounding)
