Hi All, It has been so long since I have posted anything, I may have forgotten how so bare with me.. I had so many cabs almost done I finally threw them all in the vibe to get final scratches out and get them polished up or I would still have them sitting out in the garage waiting to be finished. Some are sets of earrings that I have the pendant somewhere around here waiting for them to finish sets.My photography is still bad as ever but you will be able to get an idea of how these look. i think they look much better in person. I will probably only post a few here or will overload this thread. Here are some Jaspers Imperial earrings Red Jaspers Hanson Pet Wood from Woodyrock This is mostly Jaspers with a few agates thrown in Have some flints and jaspers here. Can't remember the name of the center one. Can't remember but I think this is Cady Mountain stuff I know the center is Morrisonite. Can't remember the name of the other two right now. These are Imperial Jaspers Very dark green bloodstones. They just would not show in the pictures well group shot Thanks for looking, Fran

Fran - Sweet cabs, you still got it for sure. I like the matching sets, I need to do more of that... Great collage of colors. Cheers

More eye candy to enjoy! Your Hanson pet wood cab is gorgeous! frane, at what grit did you decide to place your cabs in the vibe to remove the final scratches?

Great looking cabs and so many to choose from. The pink imperial jaspers might be my favorites. Good job on the tumble too.

Great set! I think the unknown in picture 5 might be Tee Pee Canyon agate?

Thank you so much everyone! It is great to get some things completed!I still have about 300 cabs in different stages of progress sitting around my cabber that are softer so will have to do them one at a time on my machine. Gingerbread kid: I actually took them to 280 on the cabbing machine but could see the scratches in the center. Threw them in the vibe with a lot of ceramic filler(I have a bunch of old mugs I break up and tumble in a rotary for about 2 weeks to use in the vibe as filler) and started them in the 120/220 grit. Ran it 24 hours, added another tablespoon of 120/220 and water. Ran that for 12 more days adding water each day. Once I rinsed and washed them, they were ready for polish. Ran that for 6 days. This is the first time i left it so long and wasn't impatient. It paid off. Roger, you are right and thank you. That is Tee pee Canyon. I could not remember the name! Happens too much with me when I have so many cut out and being processed. Would be much better if I could finish sets as soon as I cut the preforms out. Just never works out with me. I have well over 1000 preforms cut and waiting to be processed...I keep telling myself I am not going to cut any more out until I catch up...that hasn't worked.
