found where all them prairie dogs are. Clams in this area are not common. There are other fossils in this also. The land is flat and known for naturally polished pieces. This one is shown how it was found. this photo shows the clam shell.

toad, IMO, it is more of a specimen and the matrix left around it makes it even neater. I would like to see the other side of the clam. I think it might be whole on the other side. Maybe not. Who knows. It is thick enough matrix to be covering the remaining shape of the clam. 2.5 to 3 inches long. Pretty nice size for what it is.
