I don't see any orientation that changes pattern. I would initially cut in half, and position so the 1st slice off each half looked to be as fracture free as possible.

My opinion,if I was to cut that rock I would take the last photo,position it in the vise as is,facing the blade and start slabbing it... If making a halve for display,I would cut it any way,it fits in the vise...Colors are everywhere...
The reason I would slab the rock the way I said..To bring the white out with the slabs... Either way you cut it,its going to "POP"!!!!

I'm still kinda new to cutting up rocks I would say any way that fits in the vice the best to get you as many slabs as you can. it's looking pretty cool all around, I don't think a particular orientation would do better. But why not experiment take a wafer thing slice off one side, rotate it, take another. That way you have a good base to clamp it in your vice anyways :-)
