On the phone with BD right now and the guy is telling me theres no resolve to this and I just need to hold onto it to keep it from spinning. Bullshit. This is a safety hazard! deb193redux I didnt expect it to spin when I first got it and it got me in the wrist rotating at 600rpm. The guy even told me it wasnt his product. Aske dif it was stamped BD and I went to the interwebs where it said it was from them on Kingsleys website. So I basically got nowhere with BD. No solution. Told me BD doesnt have technical support for a situation like this basically. "You'll just have to rig something up to keep it from spinning and wrapping the water line up." Also told me the pump kit was for some cabbing unit initially until I called the attention to the website where they sell it together with the water swivel. And this is why I hate dealing with customer service reps.

That rep does not sound worth the call. Sad to hear they had no advice. Maybe BD is not manufacturing them, but have them their catalog to help sell drillbits.
I haven't used one of these, but it makes sense that you rig up something to stop it spinning.
Check out this video, where he uses tension in a fairly stiff plastic tube to control spinning.

Thanks for the video. I got an 8ft lead hose and zip tied it to the column of my drill press. Works perfectly now!
