Albeit a "large" storm, (for California standards) I didn't find a whole lot in the jade hunting region of Big Sur California. Once gain, the cobble beaches changed due to constant flux in a geologically tumultuous area. The first picture is pretty typical jade of the area, (grayish-green mix) although it has qualities of being a "bot". (I guess the really "grapey" ones don't last that long in the surf) The second picture is of a quarter-sized piece, that in sunlight, has a greenish-blue hue. Up close, it is pale dark blue with dark green inclusions. I do like the blue stuff, even if it isn't "pure" blue.
