I like to wander the prairie and stare at the ground and today was a nice day for it at the start but it got really windy. I was checking out a new for me area and it was really productive, I was bending over to pick up rocks so often my neck was getting kinda sore. Agate mostly, some brown and red jasper and a few chunks of epidosite. I've been getting really picky on what epidote I pick up it's got to have a lot of quartz in it.
here's a nice piece of a pink/white agate that's typical of some of the agate around here, polka dots in it but not usually red like this. I'm stoked to saw this up and take a look at the inside:
