I like the apache tear guess too captbob but I thought they were pretty far north of Mexico in Kingman Arizona?

I've never been to Arizona, so I have no idea what can be found in different parts of the state. He said that you were getting warm with the obsidian guess, so tears was as close as I could think of to obsidian.
What else is obsidian like?
Gotta remember he is sending out a box of this stuff for free, so guesses like dino bone or meteorite are probably kinda pricy material.
Not technically a rock ... hmmmmmmm

He didn't say he was sending out the material he found yesterday, though. He's sending out stuff he found in the last couple of months.
