A friend commissioned me to make two knives for her nephews. They are very competitive so they had to be the same, but different. That makes sense for those of you who had a sibling you did not get along with. She picked out some red moss agate from the Cady Mountains. To make them the same, yet different I added a brass band in different places. This also was a good way for me to join two pieces of stone together since the one rock I had of the stuff did not yield as many complete slices as I needed. I forgot to take photos until it was time to deliver them so I apologize for the poor photos. Enjoy. Knife #1 Knife #1 Knife #2 Knife #2

Beautiful! Really like how you added the brass band to the knives, barclay, and your nephews will enjoy them.

Those look swell! Great material selection, and I think you've got that down. I really like the brass band.

Those are fantastic. If either says anything about "that one is better", then there are plenty of people here that will be very happy to take either, LOL!
Thanks for sharing those great works of art.

NIce work. Good hounding. I don't remember seeing those in the Casy's. Did you go back? When we went out I found a small piece with this pattern. The rock I used for the knives I purchased at the Vista Club rock show.
