It could be some type of jasp-agate. Lots of great colors in it.

Way too much crystal structure for agate or jasper. No idea beyond that.

I will get it cut, but I don't have my own slab saw. So I have to wait until after the holidays when the club opens back up.

looks like its got a bit of everything. one mixed up rock for sure... still looks like it will look neat when polished.

HUow hard is it? Looks like some kind of granite. Have not tested it for hardness. I see areas in it that I also think look like a granite, but then there are other areas that look nothing like granite.

I cut the small end and it looks like a light green granite on that end. So it does appear to be a variety of different stones. I'll try to cut it again deeper to see what is further in.

The green and pink make my think thulite, but the pink in thulite is usually in lines, not spots

that pink is typically a feldspar if I see that color around here. and the green is probably olivine/epidote, unakite is going to be a pretty close thing, except we just call it granite if it has black in it too... unakite is just feldspar granite with epidote, if it has black it doesn't fit under the name. still gonna make some pretty polishes...
