We have ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras set a mile apart, they check your average speed over that mile and if you exceed the speed limit for that mile you get a ticket. Whole process is automatic. They don't have them everywhere yet! Now we no longer use tax discs the gov is having them put on all major roads won't be able to go from A to B without someone at C knowing where you are. Simon That is a big issue, they use electronics to measure speed and catch those w/warrants. Using your tag, hmmm, I see a market for a device that foils their tag reader. That one is a problem. They are at intersections too, same thing, catching light runners. My we have an industrious younger generation. Fascinating stuff. I only respect the patriots whom have spoken in this thread. Looks like a losing battle. Our dear government has an upper hand. Law enforcement has become a thriving business. The fight would have to be taken to a higher level at this point. Their expensive equipment, fancy courthouses, expensive jails, cars, buses, high paid employees, technology is a force to reckon with. And all of the above helps them exercise extreme authority. They got it figured out. A democracy in later stages, historically, slowly turning into a dictatorship thru apathy, allowing/enabling government and depending on government. As principles deteriorate, crime rises, increasing the need for law enforcement, and law enforcement's attitude. To stand up for your rights at this point is considered tyranny in many cases. ![](http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/af/40/c6/af40c6f99aef944aa13a07792a91742c.jpg)

Simon I know they use this technology to track big rigs between weigh scales and double check with the drivers log books. It didnt surprise me after reading this, they would start to track all moving vehicles from a-b. The other one is the chips in your drivers licence. They know your approaching the border before you have even arrived to the entry points.

In my 30 years or so of vehichular misadventures I've had one parking ticket on a bike and one speeding ticket on a bike. Since I've been driving cars I've been breath tested twice, and stopped a total of five times. We have cameras on bus lanes at traffic lights, ANPRs in pay and display car parks some councils even have spy cars that drive round looking for parking infringements. New drivers have to have trackers on their cars otherwise insurance is crippling, insurance companies are pushing for all drivers to have trackers. Locally as we're out in the sticks people park pretty much where they want, although the local kids have the police on their backs 24/7. We Brits are very good at bemoaning our lot as we only have a two party system nothing will ever change, purely because the employees no longer listen to their employers they're only interested in lining their own pockets. heck over 40 years ago,Germany already had the ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras..Quite a few G.I.'s received traffic tickets in the mail... No throwing those tickets in the glove box or garbage either! The Police in Germany mean business!!!!
