Thanks for your support!
I won't sell Captbob. I'll happily send some over though. So you are next on the list after Snowmom.

Ian, I truly appreciate your kind and generous offer, but I must decline.
I will continue to admire them from afar!
Thank you

A couple of years ago I had so many rocks I would load up a bunch of not so good rocks and dump them in the area where I was going hounding for more rocks. Some of them don't look so good once I get them home so instead of hounding I was just trading rocks and weeding out the bad ones. I will haul junk rocks home before I will go home empty handed. My brain won't allow it. Jim

A buddy of mine goes hounding on the rivers around here and takes some of his polished rocks back to the river and puts a few piles here and there....Giving someone a surprise... I'm thinking of doing the same thing this summer..........

That sounds like fun. I would sure be tickled if a newer member showed up at the rock club meeting asking how the rock he found at the river got so shiny.

yes sir ordered 1½ barrels rose quartz & 1½ sodalite from Brazil back in 07 or 08 - don't recall exactly when. The empty one is now filled with rosetta and tiger iron. Barrels are good for storage of large rock. Got any LARGE hunks of sodalite to sell?

I think I had them only ship pieces up to 12 pounds? You talking sphere material? I'll write myself a note to look.

You don't have too many rocks ... you simply need a new husband. Sorry I had to be the one to break that to you. LOL
As far as the outdoor rocks go, simply arrange them in a large circle and place a potted plant in the middle of the circle. Now you have a rock garden and a convenient way of hiding your rough cutting material in plain sight.
Darryl.

It can then go years before you will have to weed your rock garden. Otherwise it's a lot of work to keep it looking nice. I still have outdoor rock tables & rock gardens but if any of you remembers me from 2011/2012 (I think?) I really managed to swap a lot of my rough out for smaller items so now I'm getting closer to just holding stuff I can actually work I'll probably be posting a few more swaps this year though but not the boxes and boxes I had to move when things were really out of control!
