I am surely enjoying seeing your collection. I just love Pet. wood that looks like the original. totally mind destroying to picture how it became rock from a living plant. You have a lot of really beautiful specimens! Keep the pictures coming, what a show!

Yes, white oak from the looks of it. closeup picture shows cell structure. while this picture is not from the standup, it is from wood from the same area.
