The top one is green tree agate.the second is laguna.the third is dragon stone(blood)something of that nature,lol And can anyone give me an ID on the crystal specimen used as a backdrop.also forgive the dust and prints Dave

Thank you all very much.i had a few days alone(wife and kids were visiting inlaws)and could really focus.those are actually my first three pieces ever.the silver on the perimeter is 6ga half round and 16 gauge round for the prongs.for me it is easier than bezel setting and it makes the piece feel like it's got some weight to it.and thank you connrock i Believe it is citrine.once again thank you all And to James p far from mastered but pretty decent Dave

There is a jewelry school here in Atlanta that I have been involved with. You should consider one out your way. I don't attend classes but have been thinking about it. Those people have a great time and full of ideas.

I couldn't agree more.i definitely want to take some classes.they ain't cheap though.here in the artsy fartsy capital of Tx.youll have to send me one of your pieces to set James Dave
