Going on my front porch - just have to wait until I get a bobcat over here so I can put it in place.

I used to have one of those in my yard - no petrified, though. Way cool! I'd brag, too!

With that, a little brag is well accepted. Do you haul a bobcat around just in case, or were lucky to have one available?

Holy smoke that's a monster. Used to see on a bit smaller traveling the shows back in California but it was mainly the palm root root ball. Seeing the trunk attached is neat and it looks to be golden palm too. Super cool!......Mel

It's not often that you get to use a cooler for scale in your photos. Are you going to name it Stumpy?

I should name it the crusher....
Like a fool I thought I could just roll this onto my trailer with these 12 foot long pine ramp boards I made out of 2x12's. Yeah right... after about 10 minutes of me and another guy shimmying it up about halfway up the boards it decides it wants to come off. If I woulda been about a half second slower it would have landed on my right leg. This piece must weigh at least 300 lbs. It is pure dead weight.
I'm gonna try to weld up a stand so I can display it upside-down. The root detail on the bottom is amazing. I'm hoping that when I go to put all this together it doesn't turn into a youtube moment!
