Really nice!
Please talk to me about the blocking system. Are those wedges? Being a relative newbie to running a saw I've been really worried about clamping anything that is unusual shape.

Shape dictates everything....sometimes on those round eggs and geodes you can get away with the standard clamp and some wedges as I did here. Best advice is clamp it down then grab it with two hands and try to move it. There are all kinds of contraptions and clamps folks have come up with to hold rounds as well. I always have wedges around to stabilize irregular shaped rough. Cheers.
