I'm trying to figure out what type of cord or chain to use with cabs wrapped in copper. I've looked online and not really finding anything I like. What do you use and where do you get it?
Thanks, Andrea

I use copper chain. I buy it where I find it, my local craft shops, Michaels, joanns and online.

I just purchased some of the silky colored cord to put one of mine on. (green) I also purchased black. I think some pendants would look good with colored ribbon, and for a guy, leather of any sort would proably be neat too. Almost any craft shop or online store would have those.

Perfect timing because I just laced a bunch of cabs yesterday.
Three strands of pink carpenters string line braided. Black, green and white para cord. Leather lace in black and brown. Larger stuff for shoes used singly. 4 strand round braid using leather lace that is thin and used for making wallets etc. Buy it ready made is way faster. Braided nylon shoe lace that is braided using two colors. (yellow and brown)(green and brown) Braided waxed hemp cord but have to get my son's girlfriend to teach me first.
Every hardware, hobby and craft, lumber yard and any other store that may have para cord or other strings gets checked out to see what they may have.
I used to put findings on all of my necklaces to attach the ends but lately I have been passing the ends bye each other then tying them onto the opposite side of the necklace. This way the necklace is adjustable by sliding the knots down the cord.
No string is safe around me because it is going to get cut up into short pieces. I am curious as to how big I can go with the para cord before it looks stupid. Kids will wear anything different now days. Jim
