Howdy folks, Went to the Fredericksburg gem show this AM. Bout the same as always except even less rough and slabs and very high prices these days. Really went hog wild and spent ten bucks on these one cab wonder dinny bone slabs. I love these and have managed some awesome freeform cabs from the few I've so far cabbed. Unfortunately dino bone needs to be finished all the way on the wheels cause it mostly undercuts in the vibe. This defeats my "lazy man" way of cabbing so I'm building a huge stock of these slabs n my shop. Just can't seem to quit dragging them home. Would have found more and better but some dang gal beat me to the bin this time. I hate that when that happens *L*. Anyway a couple of pics. Most these will cut one big cab.....Mel Really like the bottom one in this pic. Has bright green along the right edge. Got to figure out how to save that section.

Love Dino bones! Really like the thought of taking the bone of a long dead critter and making jewelry out of it.
That's recycling!
Amazing.

dino bone is the coolest! nothing freaks me out more than thinking about how that piece of bone walked on the earth at one point in time. that's just wild.

Love me some dino too! That's why I resist buying any - same with pet wood. Figure it's kinda like Lay's potato chips - once I start I won't stop.
Someday.
