Howdy folks, Wow another sunny warm day so I finished grading and sorting the Rio material before I have to take out my afternoon ride. Just a single pic of some of the oddball stuff. Left is a colorful swirly chert I guess. Top is a solid breccia of some sort and right is another very pretty big hunk of breccia that has the jasper and quartz chunks sealed together with red moss agate type material. I might have to saw me a slab off that one cause it's really pretty. Just a note. The pebblepups have really set me up with some nice trimsaw sized Rio Grande agate nodules too. About two to four inch size and a good variety of color and pattern suitable for slabbing on ten inch saws. Got enough for probably three medium flat raters. Anyone interested, drop me a PM. Also will have to take a pic of the wood they picked up last time. Have enough of that for a medium flat rate carton and it's really pretty stuff, water worn and quite colorful......Mel

Yeah, I've found this kind of chert down George West way too. I does have windows of gray translucent agate. May actually be some kind of limb cast too...Mel

The one on the left looks like some of the palm bog we get from Indian Pass, off Ogilby road (Near Blyth CA.)
