Is the train car for sale, or is it their office?

Is the train car for sale, or is it their office? The train car is just sitting there as a land mark on old Howell Mill Road, a high traffic street. Everyone knows about 'the train car', like 'The Big Chicken' in Marietta. The office has an old bullet proof bank teller window, with the small weigh scales in front, and the truck scales flanking it. The office is locked to keep the employees isolated from the 'street folks' that bring the metal in. So you and I and the other customers are on the outside looking in. With the street folks. The street folks are industrious, at least they are out collecting metal from who knows where. Since you probably do not have a considerable amount of metal hanging off you; you are safe All the scrap metal locations around Atlanta are located in rough sections of town where the 'pickers' are.

Some rolls and thick wire shown, but the stuff that comes and goes is real nice to pick thru. This was the take for the day, pre-designed and picked to offer a 100 dollar bill for, drug money as I call it. 1/4 HP vintage 1725 RPM motor w/variable pulley, vintage silver plate tray of plated white brass to cut up for jewelry, hand welded cart, square tubes for the welder, springs/trash cans and dog crate for wifal activities. Dinner afterwards at Figo's Italian, 6 cheese ravioli with bolognese sauce, caesars salad and 5 bottles of wine(kidding) Got slapped by wife for looking at the pretty Italian waitresses.(kidding again, cause I never got caught)

Perhaps the meth/crack biz is driving it.

Unfortunately, I believe you're right, jamesp. They'll do some crazy stuff to get it, too.

In Panama City (Panama in South America) they are replacing the metal man hole covers with plastic ones, because the thieves keep stealing the metal ones. The resulting deeeep! hole is a real hazard. The guys that are buying such obviously stolen stuff like this need to be locked up.

You get to go to cool places and top it off with a candlelit din-din too! That is what I call date night!! lol

That is what I call date night!! lol Wife has junk gene, but hoarding curse. 2 edged sword. She kicks my arse if I sneak to the yards. The owner of this yard was my age and died about 2 months ago. We got along real good, and his passing upset me. He will be missed, son taking over and is cool dude too.
